  • Place these slightly warm tea bags on your eyes. 
  • Keep them for at least 10 minutes.

You can use this remedy 3 times a day to get rid of eye burning.

3. Witch hazel

Witch hazel is one of the most effective home remedies for eye burning. It is rich in astringent properties, which temporarily narrows the blood vessels in your eyes. This thus reduces the redness in your eyes.

  • 5 drops of chilled witch hazel
  • A cotton ball

What you have to do –

  • One cup of water
  • A sterile dropper

  • Add the water in a pan and set it aside to boil.
  • Now add the Manuka honey in the pan and mix it well with a spoon.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool down/
  • With the help of a sterile dropper, drop 3 drops of this mixture into your eye.
  • Keep your eyes closed for 2 minutes.

Use these homemade manuka honey drops twice a day to get rid of eye burning.

9. Apple cider vinegar

What you have to do –

  • Add the water to a pan and set it aside on low flame.

  • Now remove the tea bags and squeeze them to drain out excess liquid.
  • Let the tea bags cool completely and then place them on your eyes.
  • Leave them over your eyes for at least 15 minutes.

11. Flaxseed oil

  • 2 drops of flaxseed oil containing eye drops

  • Keep them closed for at least 3 minutes.
